Thank you for the advice @mercime. I now have a dev buddypress to play with.

XAMPP worked fine once I removed IIS and other things which were causing conflicts.

I am using MAMP. When I installed the plugin I set the register page to a new blank sign up page. when I installed the plugin there was no register or activate page created, that’s why I changed the setting to a new page. Your much welcome sir. Like I noted though its really not a feature I use here at all. I am here to give what advice and help when I can, so posting a status update isn’t relevant to my agenda but for others that use it then I suppose they would find it useful. Thanks again! 🙂

Just tested it out even though it is not a feature I use here but after I posted an activity update it went to a white screen with what appears to be a redirect loop that will not resolve. @mercime @hnla Do you guys have the same issue?

No I didnt try deactivating plugins since I was not sure which plugin is actually causing this error. Its only on posts. While posting a update, we can add a photo,video,link n document.

Sorry for the late reply. I am using WP 3.5.1 and BP 1.7.1. Yes I have been using BP from the begining. Theme used is Bp Nicey. I am using most of the BuddyPress plugins like groups,docs etc.

I’ll try again with the basic troubleshooting and see where that gets me since I don’t recall what the outcome was. I remember disabling everything and going to the twentytwelve theme with no change in the results.

What would cause the widgets to appear on the directory page but not individual users?

Has the css code provided by @mercime changed, and to what file does it get added?

@mercime, I did download and install the integration but that didn’t seem to make any difference with the issues that I’ve been having. I just deleted the files from my site and I’m going to have a guy who helps us with our coding remove any traces of bbPress or BuddyPress from the myPHPadmin file and the reinstall everything.

@mercime, I’ve been spending some time on it and think I figured it out, but now I have another minor issue.

So incase anyone has this same issue, it was as simple as editing the /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php file to match my profile images (which are 120px and 50px) :

Thanks for the reply @mercime. Not multisite, and I’m admin but not super admin. I’ve disabled the “Members” plugin to no avail. Did not create any other admin-type accounts. This is the error I get when I attempt to delete a plugin:
