Thanks guys! Will await this with anticipation! Any ETA?
Thanks Jeff!
any idea anyone?
Sorted thank John!
Hi Arturo
Yes i have the version up and running now and have also included the forum bit in the header
Still would like to change the logo if possible though
Have the proper install working and up now but my can anyone still answer my original post regarding the logo and forum header
cheers
Im also not seeing the
Enable XML-RPC and Allow Pingback options and i dont have a buddypress plugin either like in the installation notes, i downloaded the latest version from bbpress, have i clicked the wrong link?
Has anyone else managed to get password protected posts working in this way?
Jeff
An example on my site
if you click on the “test” post it asks you for a password before you can view the post
whereas when i do this on my buddypress site it wont even show the post, not in site activity or in the authors blog section of their profile or anywhere on the site…
can anyone help?
The way it works on my other wordpress sites is that the password protected posts still appear on the site and in the heirachy of posts but when you click it it asks for a password before you see the rest of the information.
Ive done this with my buddypress site and password protected posts dont appear, not even in the members members blog page?
Apologies John.
I did sort it out…because the title was 2+2= the slug ended up being 22 which i think wordpress thought was a date/time etc because i did another few test blogs afterward and they all worked fine
Ahh
Ok
Any ideas on how easy that is to do as its somethign id like on my members profile?!
Thanks Jeff
I will contact them
Nope, tried everything on that page and its still directing to the non www. version of the site
anyone managed to look at this?
anyone?
will do!
thanks Jeff!
Thanks! Sorted it!
Just had this email from Aksimet
“
Hi Michael,
I just heard back from our network staff.
Evidently there was a problem about 24 hours ago that affected some OpenDNS users in the UK – presumably this includes your hosting provider. Some locations were unable to resolve domains hosted on certain DNS servers, which included Akismet (and some other sites). We know the problem was at OpenDNS and confined to the UK, but we haven’t received an explanation from them as to what happened.
Whatever it was, it seems to be fixed now.
Please let me know if you’re still experiencing problems and we’ll take a fresh look.
Kind regards,
Alex.”
Im also getting an unknown error occured when searching for plugins which was working fine earlier…
i think something must be up with the server?!
When i put my API key in it says
The key you entered could not be verified because a connection to akismet.com could not be established. Please check your server configuration.
and
my stats page looks like this

Thanks! Sorted!
Does Aksimet not work with WPMU?
