  • Hi,
Is there anyone who have done this before? Or should i assume that this is something not possible?

This is exactly what i was looking for..
I hope this is the best solution for this feature???

    That worked :)

There are two options for forums…
    1) Forums for Groups
    2) New! Site Wide Forums

You might have chosen the first one!

Put If Condition around the code which display Group Join/Leave Button…

Go to your Database and search in table groups_members… If current Logged in user id exists in that table, then the join of leave button will not appear to that logged in user…
So there will be no need to set private groups.. it will only show the joining option to the members who have not joined any group…

    ohh thats great!
So what was the issue ???

Can you see that deleted page in Trash ????

    orpatech got it right!

    Hi mercime ,
    Sorry i didn’t made my points clear…
I have for about 25 groups… but each member can join 1 group at most… Therefore i have 125 members and each group have 5 members…
Therefore i want to show the group name next to the user name of each member’s profile
    thanks :)

just download buddypress in your Hard Drive and upload (ONLY) registration.php
    nothing to re-install again!

The code provided above worked, although a little change was required in sidebar coding…

    > Widgets, and drag & drop a widget into the corresponding widget panel.', 'swagger' ); ?>

    No one ?

    I still need a solution

    Nice Site…
but i really got surprised for a moment when i saw 4,503,723 Facebook likes for a work in progress site :P

i just installed that latest version on the first go…. never upgraded, no need to…
do i still need to re-upload the buddypress fresh download ?
