I figured out that if you put the http://www.domain.com works fine but if you just type domain.com it redirects to domain.com/register

Take a look at the Widget Logic plugin. Using conditional tags, widgets can be enabled/disabled on any page you choose. You might find some cues.

@NipponMonkey Yes, this triggers the import function for Facebook/Twitter/Last.fm etc. This is something they can certainly add manually. I was assuming that a lot of non technical people would be using your plugin and they would just have to un-comment it out to make the functionality work if they decided themselves to allow it.…[Read more]
