Buddyboss got sold to awesome motive. More competition for buddypress. We are currently at a declining rate sitting at 2016 levels.

One thing that has been missing in BP is import and export. This should have been there from version 1.

heres how you can fix this.

1. Disconnect the members page from WP admin – Settings – BuddyPress – PAges – member , set it to none.
2. Create your members page in Elementor
3. Re-save this page as members page back in 1.

this would require custom code, use the bp_groups_join_group hook.

This is for group activity. Is this from BuddyPress core ? Are you using any plugin which claims to make activity load “live” ?

personally, I have always hated any code which makes periodic calls to your server.

This has the potential to cause huge amount of spam on your site. I am not sure why would you want to disable this as this is an industry standard, also helps in confirming emails and communication.

p.s : In a commercial theme I use WPLMS, it has this feature of custom registration forms where this checkbox to disable account activation and log the user in automatically.
