@paulhastings0, of course I’ll try turn it into a plugin. I’ve never written a plugin but I’m pretty sure I can take a crack at it.

@pcwriter, the simple way to do it would be to make the “chat” page open in a new window. That’s how deviantart.com does it.

replace this function in bp-activity-hashtags.php (make sure you have the priority set high on those filters though, this has to hook after all the internal wordpress stuff)

BuddyCamp is still a kernel of an idea. It was something @mikepratt and I were working on about a year ago. Our initial idea was to hold the first one in Chicago as at the time it was convenient to the both of us. No other plans are in the works at this time.

@pisanojm i uninstalled all the plugins and buddypress as well, reinstalled it as well, but still the same the bubble does not show up

@paulhastings0 – updated the plugin to v0.3.1

there is a residual problem with using the filters (ie, Show Activity Updates) and search_terms as BuddyPress ignores searching the activity_comments type
