Something appears amiss with your urls, for example: http://www.ibonvivant.com/http:/www.ibonvivant.com/home
Try deactivating all of your plugins except for BuddyPress and see if it works.
In reply to: Trouble creating a new userAre you running the default BuddyPress theme from BP 1.2.5.2?
In reply to: Child themes don’t auto-replace “adminbar.css”Yeah, that’s what I ended up doing.
In reply to: friendship chain 4 buddypress?Sorry, but I haven’t heard anything about it for a while. I believe the term you’re searching for is “Friend of a Friend” or, “FOAF”.
In reply to: Creating a directory of already existing blogsYou’ll be glad to hear that @bowromir is currently working on a very similar plugin: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/add-external-rss-feed-instead-of-creating-new-blog
In reply to: How To Show “Status Updates” In The Frontpage? Here’s a tutorial showing how to changed the default activity tab: http://shabushabu.eu/reordering-buddypress-group-tabs/
In reply to: Aggregated content – like youtube??Check the Sitewide Tags plugin.
In reply to: plazaa – A german BuddyPress communityAgh. I can’t understand anybody! I need to learn German now.
Awesome BuddyPress theme though. I hope you use your skills and creativity to create more.In reply to: Double GroupsYup, I experienced the same problem today for blog posts and discovered the culprit was W3 Cache as well. I didn’t narrow it down to db.php though. Thanks!
In reply to: @thepseudo in the postsThere’s a trac ticket for this that I opened a few months back: https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2380
In reply to: Social Visualization ReportOh, I just came across this tonight: http://heavyanalytics.com/
Perhaps you could drop the developer a line and drop in some feature requests since he seems to still be coding it.
In reply to: Social Visualization ReportHmm… I don’t know abut your second question regarding Google Analytics, but these 2 plugins are along the the lines of your first request. You’ll need to do some tweaking with them but the general gist is there:

In reply to: mobile theme for buddypress?Well currently if “User A” makes a status update and then “User B” replies to his update, “User A” receives a notification in his email inbox and sees what “User B” said. Currently, if “User A” wants to respond to “User B” he has to log back into the social network, find the update, and then type in the message.
It would be easier for a lot of mobile users instead to hit “reply” in their email inbox and then just type in their response and then click “submit”.
The more I think about it though, it seems like “reply-by-email” would actually be a separate plugin. It would be useful not only for mobile users but also regular computer users. Although I think it would help mobile users the most.
In reply to: mobile theme for buddypress?@modemlooper I seem to remember that at one time you were working on BuddiPhone. Was that simple a BuddyPress compatible theme or did it also include reply-by-email features?
In reply to: Add external RSS feed instead of creating new blogWow, that’ll be awesome!
I host on RackSpace (Cloud Sites) this normally isn’t a problem ever. Do what Paul Gibbs suggests above and then increase the memory allocated for PHP by editing the wp-config.php: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
In reply to: Migrate from Mingle to BuddypressWhile I don’t have personal experience with Mingle, it makes sense that you should at least be able to migrate the userbase over. As for Private Messages, Friendships, etc. that sounds more like a job for a plugin.
Make sure though that before you do anything that you create a backup.
Here’s one to get you started:
Ah good, cause that definitely is not happening on my site.
In reply to: Using Buddypress and Thesis 1.5.1While I don’t have any experience with Thesis, I’ve heard raving reviews about their customer support. Have you been able to check in their forums yet?
In reply to: Split members into admin defined caregories+1
In reply to: Multiple AdminsWhat version of WordPress and BuddyPress are you using?
Have you confirmed that your other admins are “Admins” or “Super Admins”?
In reply to: [Buddypress] Show an image on the FrontpageYou’ll need to create a custom page template and then upload it to your theme folder. Then create a brand new page (.e.g “Welcome”) using that custom page template you created instead of the default page template provided by Fishbook. Then in your Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading you’ll need to set the front page option to the brand new page (e.g. “Welcome”) that you created and set your posts to show up on a different page called “Articles” or “News” or something else that you like.
In reply to: ForumsAlso, have you visited a specific group’s admin panel and activated their forum?
In reply to: @thepseudo in the postsSounds like it would be a cool plugin. I know a lot of users who would appreciate something like that.
