BuddyStream Premium 2.03 Update Released today
In this release, these issues are addressed:
* Translations not loading when locale was set but language file did not exist. (now loading English translation)
* Fixed options to hide items sitewide.

With regard to oembed, I’ve experienced some issues with the .6BETA version of oembed, but things work well with the .52 version. @r-a-y is/has included oembed as part of the 1.3 build, so hopefully we can resolve all of these issues before/or at the time of the 1.3 launch… go back to the earlier version of […]

We are working on putting together better documentation/notes, etc. for the Goliath Launch.
Just a quick update and note to try to help with some saved settings issues that may “pop” up in your upgrade experience:
After upgrading to 2.0, please be sure to visit each individual module and double-check/re-save your settings.

I had this problem with the bp-signup xtra plugin… I had to completely uninstall/reinstall and it worked… disable it and see what happens.
With regard to propositioning… This site is heavily spammed… something that they are “working on”.

hey, thanks.
i figured out that it’s the “BP Humanity” plugin – it’s throwing the captcha field at the bottom of the form, but there’s no label or anything… so, now just have to figure that out, and we’re good… because i’d really LIKE to keep the captcha, as that will keep out some of the dating spammers! 😀thanks for the quick response.

@djpaul I saw you all moved the roles adaption to BP back to 1.4 in the trac. Is there any quick fix to give somebody the ability to edit all groups/activity yet not make them an admin? This is the biggest issue for us. We need a way to make a couple of users moderate everything […]

Genius @r-a-y ! This works great on the front end as well of BuddyPress… and with this people now have a way to get polls into the BP sites! Thanks!

Just an FYI, I attempted to post the same poll multiple times. The poll will only display once on a page; the rest won’t be rendered. I’m guessing this is a feature! 😉

Ray, I’m going to put this in the wp-oembed file, via your patch… should this then work with BP or is there still a problem with polldaddy as stated early and port 8080?

@r-a-y Been looking through the forums here for a user-based poll system… It looks as though polldady has oembed support and may be the simplest way to get this (or any poll) to work with bp as there are no solutions at the moment…
How can I make this work with your plugin?

So I’ve just tested PollDaddy’s oEmbed and it appears to be a problem with PollDaddy.

Actually, that’s only for the autodiscovery. I’m looking into this, however can you try putting this in a WP blog post and see if it works? If it doesn’t, it’s a WordPress thing.

It speeds up my site… I’m using opcode xcache for database cache, so my guess is that people using “disk” aren’t experiencing the gains.

I mistakenly posted above, we are using “database” caching. Object caching did not work for us and caused many problems with others seeing other users names appear when viewing private messages as well as other object cache related issues.
