Greg,

You have to do this front-end…. go to the group.. choose the admin link –> then delete group… There are some plugins for the back-end management of groups too…

Just re-looking at this thread 5 months later… Having the ability to cache avatars would be a huge load savings for all of us using CDNs… Any more progress or thoughts on this?

As I understand, this is a limitation of FB… We are considering have an option to only import status updates from FB… then you should be able to use a filter to control exactly what “pulls”… we will see.

It is likely the ongoing mail issue with validation… We’ve removed the e-mail validation on BuddyPress and have substituted a number of anti-bot checks, humanity plugin, bad behavior, si-captcha, etc…

This is working perfectly fine for me with 3.04 and BuddyPress 1.2.7 maybe you have a plugin or theme conflict…

No some other people have experienced a “white screen” on import, but it’s rare… I’m going to have to refer this threat to @blackphantom to see if he times to look at it. We are looking at another maintenance release in the next 14 days or so, but I don’t think it will address this issue […]

This integration is not on the “radar” so to speak. I am currently using this plugin to accomplish this:

  @Pisanojm – Thanks so much for your good response. I’m going to look into the suggested plugin a bit more. It would be cool to see all of these feed style features in one plugin. And I may have some other contract ideas for you guys.
