Just following up on this previous query. We had dialogue with Mediapress which we use too. They’ve replied outlining the query though ultimately lies in BuddyPress settings. See below fore reference:

Is it possible to re-look at this and advise how the URL structure is edited in BuddyPress please? I guess looking for a solution to drop into functions.php or elsewhere in child theme. Thanks.

Thanks, but that doesn’t look to have any reference to the URL string, and is a filter function. We are looking to change the URL string for {{{mentioned.url}}} for all email templates.

Ok, appreciate the reply. Regardless of how it’s referred to, how and where do you edit the URL string? I saw that article earlier today, but it doesn’t reference the file that outputs the URL string.

So in reference to the email template with title “[{{{site.name}}}] {{poster.name}} mentioned you in an update” how do you edit the strong for “mentioned.url” part?

Sorry….. with code tags this time…..

    Shortcode is as below:

<a href="{{{mentioned.url}}}">Go to the discussion</a> to reply or catch up on the conversation.

So where to edit the URL of “mentioned.url” shortcode please?
