BP 1.2.6 made some changes to the way buttons are rendered.

The BuddyPress Default theme is not meant to be used network-wide.

If you want to use the same theme across your blogs, you need to create a child theme of the BuddyPress Default theme.

Then you can modify the header (header.php) to use the main site’s header image.

You just need to create a new page with a custom page template and assign this new page as the front page:

Once you’ve done this, “Activity” should automatically be added to the nav menu (I think!).

Something like this definitely needs to be in WP core!

@spinhead – You’re using the wrong YouTube link.

You should be using:

@tak5haka – If $profileTagClean returns an array, then you need to print out the variable as an array to debug further.

What happens when you use the following instead of echo?
print_r($profileTagClean);

table tr.alt { background-color: #f4f4f4; }

Change #f4f4f4 to whatever.

@gwu123 – code snippet has been revised; forgot to set priority so it runs earlier.

oEmbed is not a video uploading plugin. It relies heavily on 3rd-party sites like YouTube, Vimeo et al.

SInce you’re using P2 to write a blog post, you should try enabling auto-embeds in WordPress:

Make sure “Auto-embeds” is checked.

Judging from the syntax used in the plugin readme files, I’m not quite sure it uses shortcodes.

A WP shortcode usually has a parameter then the value.
eg.

Looks like you’re using a plugin as there is no stock option for that in WordPress network mode.

Template Pack needs to be updated… I’m not sure who’s in charge of that plugin as of right now.

It’s in BP 1.3 trunk I believe.

@intimez – Just checked Private Messages for Friends Only and the plugin still works fine on BP 1.2.6.

If you modified the member header in your child theme, you’ll need to look at the changes made to /members/single/member-header.php and apply them.
