How so?
The frontend stuff is located in registration/register.php.
What are you trying to change?
[EDIT]
Boone was just a step faster than me!
Moo! (translates to Boone is right)
In reply to: Search for Members and Pagination BugThis thread is quite old.
Please stick to the thread you replied to:

In reply to: Permalinks not working in BuddyPress 1.0 installAre you using IIS? If so, this may help:

In reply to: [Resolved] CubePoints and BuddyPress Intregration?Yup that’s right.
The other thing is you might need to ensure that CubePoints is loaded as well.
Try something like this in your cubepointsbp() function:
function cubepointsbp() {
if ( function_exists( 'cp_init' ) ) {
//your ninja code
}
else {
// display error message
add_action( 'admin_notices', 'cubepointsbp_error_msg');
}
}
function cubepointsbp_error_msg(){
echo '<div class="error fade" style="background-color:red;"><p><strong>CubePoints for BP requires the CubePoints plugin in order to work. Please deactivate this plugin or activate <a href="https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cubepoints/">CubePoints</a>.</strong></p></div>';
}Untested… but see if that works.
In reply to: How do you create a subpageCreate a page in WordPress, then create a WordPress sub-page?
In reply to: [Resolved] CubePoints and BuddyPress Intregration?global $bp;
if ( !$bp->loggedin_user->is_site_admin )
return false;This goes above the function_exists call.
Just an FYI, make sure that your plugin is BP-aware:

In reply to: Need custom header to display only on homeOpen up your header.php, do a conditional check for the homepage and output the flash header only.
eg.
<?php

<div class="flash">
<object width="950" height="260">

</object>
</noscript>
</div>
<?php
endif; ?>In reply to: Member BlogsYou can’t.
If you’re not pressed for time, I would recommend waiting for WP 3.0 and the next release of BP.
BP 1.2.4 will support WP 3.0 and WP 3.0 will allow you to create user blogs.
What Boone said.
Blog-related stuff is handled by WordPress.
Activity replies are handled internally by BuddyPress.
I would recommend what glamgrif mentioned and that is to disable the activity stream for blog comments and forum posts because the activity stream and blog comments / forum posts are independent from one another.
https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/faq-how-to-code-snippets-and-solutions#post-37843
You could try replacing blog comments with the activity stream:
https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-activity-as-blog-comments/
For forum replies, you could use a BuddyPress plugin:
https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-group-activity-stream-subscription/
Other suggestions:
BP Group Control:
http://danpolant.com/bp-group-control/
Secure Invites for WPMU (note it works for WPMU only!):
https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-secure-invites/
Invite Anyone plugin:
https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/invite-anyone/
I don’t think that plugin has the “tracing” ability you want though. You could bring it up to Boone, the plugin author, as a feature request.
In reply to: buddypress registration conversion trackingYou could hook a custom function after BP registration.
I haven’t done this myself, but you could output some Google Analytics event tracking javascript when a new user is registered.
In reply to: create subnav not working with child themeSorry for telling you to use locate_template(). I didn’t read the thread properly.
You don’t need the bp_badge_load_template_filter() function. It’s only needed for core components. Since your plugin is a subnav of a core component you can delete this function.
Also, you need to tell your users to move the “badge” directory from the “includes/templates” folder into the child theme.
Or you can use the following in your bp_badge_screen() function:
function bp_badge_screen() {
global $bp;
/* Add a do action here, so your component can be extended by others. */
do_action( 'bp_badge_screen' );
add_action( 'bp_template_content', 'bp_badge_screen_content' );
bp_core_load_template( apply_filters( 'bp_core_template_plugin', 'members/single/plugins' ) );
}
function bp_badge_screen_content() {
//the body contents of /badge/screen.php
}In reply to: enable theme 1.2 sitewideThe BP default theme is technically not a blog theme.
You should create a child theme of the default and strip out all the BP-related items (in the header.php file mostly) and then you’d have a functional blog theme.
Read more here:
https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/bp-blog-theme-as-default
In reply to: Pages for BuddypressDid you try the 1.2 compatible, bleeding version?
In reply to: enable theme 1.2 sitewideNaming your child theme “default” doesn’t do anything… just name it the way you want to name it.
eg. /wp-content/themes/my-theme/
View Andrea’s post just a few posts above you to set your new child theme as default for new blogs. This only works for new blogs.
If you want to set a new theme for all existing blogs, you’ll need to run a custom script to change every single blog to the new theme.
What asks you for a zip file?
Do you have an unzipping program?
Unzip the “buddypress” folder from buddypress.1.2.3.zip to a local area on your computer.
Use Filezilla and login to your FTP, navigate to your web server’s /wp-content/plugins/ folder.
Upload the entire “buddypress” folder to “wp-content/plugins” with FileZilla.
You can do this by dragging and dropping the “buddypress” folder from your computer to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder in Filezilla.
Now login to the WP dashboard, navigate to “Plugins”, you should see BuddyPress.
How far do you get?
In reply to: Little problem with “Forum-Extras” PluginContact etiviti (rich!):
In reply to: New users/My BlogsThere is no such role as “no role”. Are you running any other plugins besides BP?
You don’t upload the ZIP file, you upload what is inside the ZIP file.
Once you’ve uploaded the /buddypress/ folder into /wp-content/plugins/, in your WP Plugins page, you should see BuddyPress in the plugins list.
Then you should be able to activate it.
In reply to: New users/My BlogsChange the default WP role to Subscriber instead.
Login to the WPMU dashboard, navigate to “Site Admin > Options”, change the default role to subscriber.
From the initial post, I thought you FTP’d the BuddyPress plugin.
Try the manual method instead.
https://buddypress.org/download/
Download the ZIP, upload the contents of the folder to your wp-content/plugins/ folder and activate it.
Try the automatic install from the WordPress admin plugins page:
http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php
Search for BuddyPress, then install and activate.
