Add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file:
function remove_adminbar_from_mainsite() {

remove_action( 'wp_footer', 'bp_core_admin_bar', 8 );

That would be the item-list-tabs. Try this:

div.item-list-tabs {
border-bottom:0;
}

To target stuff like that really easily, install the Firebug addon for Firefox.
