i think you should modify both the buddypress home and the member theme: the base.css file or the custom.css file for both themes. Change the body, the left, right, center column width, and the narrow and wide column.

for the avatars: i’ve noticed that there is a problem with internet explorer. It just does not show the button for going to the next step. Try with Mozilla and see if it works

Hi Martin, thanx for your help.

I’ve just noticed a strange thing: in my local installation, logout works. It is the online version that fails…but pages are the same! Maybe it is possibile that some server configuration could give problems?

when i click on the logout link in bp, it points to: (sorry i don’t know how to insert code)

after clicking, in the left column of the bp theme i read something like: “sorry, this page can’t be found”, and the user remains logged in.

For logging out, users should enter the wpmu backend and logging out from there: (sorry i don’t know how to insert code)`

I’ve installed the 1.02b combo version, and i’ve just tried downloading the last svn version of the functions.php for the buddy press home theme, but it still does not work

Thanx Martin. yes, i’ve seen that the full name does not overwrite the username. but you know that the username is commonly the name of the user, and not only a login data. And so, i think that will be difficult for users to write 2 names, one for the login and one for the profile. It would been better if BP had used the username as profile name.
