    if possible i’d like to ask another question:

    i want to show in the main blog the recent post from ALL blog, and in the sub blogs only the post from that SINGLE blog.

    the if condition is ok, and the main blog call all blogs recent posts:

    $posts = bp_blogs_get_latest_posts( null,10 ) ?>

    it is working fine for the main blog, now i must think to sub blogs. How can i edit it for showing only the current blog recent posts changing only a line?

    thanx Andy. Only a last thing: could you tell me what is the page to modify in order to filtering site activity contents? if it is not so hard i will try, it’s important for a new theme that will be really different from previous themes.

    maybe you are looking for this:

    <?php bp_loggedinuser_avatar_thumbnail() ?>

    the homepage of the site is http://wikiroma.it (the home.php) file, and the buddypress MU community is http://wikiroma.it/index.php

    it worked fine until using MU 2.65, the 2 files are both in the root and i’ve setted htaccess giving priority to home.php and then to index.php.

    But now http://wikiroma.it/index.php reloads the home.php file.

    If i change the index.php (the index of MU) with an empty index.php it works fine and does not redirects to home.php, so i think the htaccess works ok.

    yes, i’ve created an empty index.php and it works, it does not redirects to home.

    i’ve reupload the mu 2.7 index.php and it…redirects again to home..grrrrrrrr

    hi Andy: the home.php (my homepage that is not part of MU) and the index.php (that comes with MU) are in the root, not in the theme.

    It has always worked ’til yesterday: the url http://wikiroma.it goes to http://wikiroma.it/home.php

    Only when clicking http://wikiroma.it/index.php users were directed to MU home theme (buddypress).

    But now the index.php reload the home.php and so people can’t enter the MU homepag

    i say…wait. BuddyPress will be released for WordPress (not MU) in a near future. I cannot say when, but the developers are working on this.

    You could use DarkPress: it’s cool, it’s for buddypress, and it’s free :-)

    guys i don’t want to be boring: i’ve installed last MU, latest buddy press trunk but the problem it is still there. I’m testing the default home theme: after clicking newest, active, popular, the item-avatars loose the link

    have you reverted MU on english and tried to re-add widgets one by one? however it was a known bug that was solved in the trunk version: download the latest and you’ll solve

    @sgrunt

    thanx guys i’ll update to the latest trunk

    @sgrunt

    if your site has not english language, you should download the latest svn version of BUDDY PRESS, and then set the widgets. RC-1 version has that problem

    hi Burt, no i’ve not touched nothing outside theme folders, and i’ve seen this issue with other (not mine)bp like: http://ilovewestdavis.com/ or http://sportsblognet.com/

    @sgrunt

    i’m sure it depends on the version your using: i was getting mad to solve it in my local installation with no success: i thought it was a fault of my custom theme. Then i’ve tried my custom theme on my second local installation and all worked fine. I don’t remember how to see the current version number of buddypress, if i know how to see it i can tell you what is the working version.

    “i have the BuddyPress Home Theme set to active and the other set to no.”

    here you are talking bout the “admin themes” where admin can approve or not themes that can be activated. But it is not the activation: go to Design / Themes and click on the selected theme you want to be active.

    thanx Daniel i’ll visit your site. I’m waiting a bit so people can show me theme bugs or other problems to fix.

    @sgrunt

    oh i know well that …lovely… bug: it happens only when you are not logged in. But i think it has been solved in recent svn versions.

    @sgrunt

    I’ve reuploaded the file (you see Beta 2 in the download link). I’ve removed site wide styling, in this way home theme and member are indipendent from each other and you can use my home theme and a different member theme and viceversa

    @sgrunt

    great!!!! today i’ll fix and reupload the zip file. Please then tell us the address of your website here and in the buddydress.com comments, so people can see working websites with the new theme

    update: reuploaded file just now

    @sgrunt

    maybe it’s more simple in this way:

    “copy the css/site-wide.css file of your facebuddy home-theme and past it into the css folder of your facebuddy-member-theme renaming it in: custom.css”

    please let me know if it works for you
