    you have modified the base.css in the css folder here: wp-contentmember-themesbuddypress-membercss

    the 2 overlapping divs are: #optionsbar and #userbar: maybe a problem of width

    hi roomer: do you think that the language is the cause of this bug? do you mean the wpmu language or the bp language?

    i’ve reuploaded the whole rc1 combo but nothing happens…and i’ve opened an assistance ticket too. Sorry to be boring, but the website is online and you know that it’s a pain. Thank you!

    the only widget that appears in my bp home is the “text” widget, but all the bp-related widgets: site-activity, members, groups, who’s online, do not show at all. All the rest of the bp works well: the problem is it only with the homepage widgets.

    i mean an advanced search: find all the WOMEN that lives in ROME, for example. In BP i cannot specify multiple search criteria, only a generic search field.

    i think you should reinstall mu

    hi Martin. The problem is that the user has got 1 name in wpmu (for example, the author’s name when he posts in a blog), and a different name in Bp. And so, your public reads a post written by “Mart84” and in bp he cannot find him, cause your name is “Martin Smith”. And in this way i think it’s impossible to make links from the author’s name to his profile (it’s not impossibile, but not so easy for a not-programmer like me). However, i think that it’s a bit confusing using different names.

    anyone else with this problem? if it includes both the 2.65 and the 2.7 versions (as i read) i think it could be a big issue.

    please guys help us, using feeds is such an important thing…

    i don’t think (let me speak english for the other users), however my bp is: http://wikiroma.it/index.php

    i’m very interested in the google map integration (i’ve seen you’re doing something in that way) for groups and users, but i’d like to use geocoded addresses, and not coordinates (for example: an user fill the “street field” with: roma, via del corso 23 and the marker appears on the map

    sorry, i was talking about the bp “site activity” feed that does not work, not about the wpmu rss feed

    i don’t know, in my buddypress (http://wikiroma.it/index.php) the search and letter search work for users with the “full name” (not the username) filled. Sorry

    open the gif: wp-contentmu-pluginsbp-coreimages

    photoshop:

    first set this:

    image>method>rgb color

    then you can use the color balance:

    image>adjustments>color balance

    i have an italian version of photoshop and so i’ve trying to translate the menu item names, hoping you can understand them

    @sgrunt

    yes, you can easily change the color of the gif in photoshop.

    to be found a member must:

    fill the “full name” of buddypress profile, not only the wpmu username, or he should have done some login or activity after the bp installation.

    Your “old” wmpu members are considered inactive until they fill the full name or do something.

    i think the problem is given by divs positioned using distances from margin left or right. And so when you resize the window, the distance from margins change, and you shall refresh the page to correctly rebuild the layout.

    Maybe, you just need to rewrite css code for left, center, right, narrow, wide columns and it’not a big pain.

    @sgrunt

    yes, you have that problem in the original buddypress demo too. There is something wrong in stylesheets, but honestly i think it’s a pain to rewrite all stylesheets of buddypress: they are a lot!

    i’ve re uploaded just now all bp. Nothing change…i’d like to understand where to modify the logout url, removing the redirect.

    I’ve tried changing the templatetags in bpcore but it sorts no changes.

    note: every time i try to paste the link url here in the forum, the post don’t go published
