In reply to: show members with specific Member TypeCreate an overload of the members-loop.php template.
Then change this:
<?php if ( bp_has_members( bp_ajax_querystring( 'members' ) ) ) : ?>To this:
<?php if ( bp_has_members( bp_ajax_querystring( 'members' ) . '&member_type=tutors' ) ) : ?>In reply to: 2 specific issues about extendingOn my installs, the value in the usermeta table is not accurate.
The value in the activity table is accurate.In reply to: 2 specific issues about extendingafaik –
last-activityis no longer stored in the usermeta table.
For the first issue, look at the{prefix}_bp_activitytable.
I would just write a custom$wpdb->get_colquery that gets theuser_idfor type=’last_activity’ anddate_recorded < NOW() + INTERVAL -60 DAYin the desired range.
The result will be a one-dimensional array of user ids – but it will not factor in user roles.
If roles are important, then write another query that just returns IDs based on role and the array returned by the first query.
$user_query = new WP_User_Query( array( 'role' => 'contributor', 'fields' => 'ID'. 'include' => $array_from_first_query ) );Try wp_redirect for external urls.
In reply to: Running Sandbox site on BluehostIn reply to: Which file to edit – change private group message?You cannot overload core files in a theme – only template files which are in this dir:
bp-templates.
To change messages, use the language file.In reply to: Email notification settings. Where in database.Here is an example of a meta_key

You should send your question to the creators of the bp-group-chat plugin.In reply to: Acces to $this outside BP_Component class>Hopefully I’m at the right place for this question.
No, these are the forums for BuddyPress.
You should send your question to BuddyBoss or BuddyForms.In reply to: Added a filter in the member directory.To get group members, use groups_get_group_members
It looks like your user name is being changed – and that is not typically allowed in WP.
So that behavior is specific to your site.
You need to find the code that is changing your username.
Can you still log into the site with your original user name?In reply to: User Profile Tabs – select destinationPlease send your question to the creators of that premium plugin.
In reply to: Groups – How do members find them?By going to the Groups page, typically at yoursite.com/groups/
That page will list all Public and Private groups, and should show a Join or Join Request button.Probably:

First, overload the template to your child-theme.In reply to: admin add members from WP Users listUse these functions in your custom code after the user is added and their ID exists:
Add user to a group:groups_join_group( $group_id, $user_id );
Make user active on the site:bp_update_user_last_activity( $user_id );In reply to: admin add members from WP Users list> This requires that the site admin be able to add a validated member without the user log in.
So they can make the payment without signing up as a WordPress user on your site?
If they don’t have a login name, then they don’t have an ID and cannot be added to a group – by any method.If they do have a WP login name, then you can add them in wp-admin.
Go to Groups, mouse-over a Group Name and click Edit.
On the Edit screen you will see this section: Add New Members.In reply to: Buddypress – get friend IDs$current_user_id = bp_current_user_id(); $the_ids = friends_get_friend_user_ids( $current_user_id ); $the_ids[] = $current_user_id;In reply to: Filter to change BP from addressafaik – you cannot change the
