    hm. thanks, i’ll look into that.
    i was really trying to avoid using ANOTHER plugin tho… this should be possible, shouldn’t it?

    this is great help… but how do we do this with the s2member fields when we have s2member set to integrate with buddypress profiles???

    i edited the core file – bp-members-functions.php – worked like a charm… tho i am loathe to edit the core files… i tried doing a child functions file but that didn’t work (tho i might have just put it in the wrong place to get found… )

    would be GREAT if this were an admin function with html editing capability, AND if it sent html email with a nice logo etc…

    any coders out there need a project?

    i am having a similar problem with this in 1.6.5….
    in conjunction with s2member

    can import members ok via s2member but if i go to EDIT the member, changes will not save and it takes me to a 404 page outside the dashboard!!!

    my brain is too mushy to figure this out… need direction if anyone out there has had a similar challenge…

    me too… don’t even get the crop tool… just a preselected crop of the uploaded image… which often isn’t very attractive :D

    This bit of code:

    “Go to wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php
    Then change bp-core-avatars.php line 389

    Replace:
    if ( !$path = get_option( ‘upload_path’ ) )
    $path = WP_CONTENT_DIR . ‘/uploads’;
    “

    DOES NOT APPEAR in my copy of bp-core-avatars.php

    nor is there anything remotely similar…
    i JUST installed BP yesterday (v1.2.4.1) into an existing WP install (v2.9.2) so everything is up to date
    i’m using the bp-themepack on magazine-basic theme

    any thoughts??
    i ALSO did a new install of WP & BP (same versions but installed at the same time) on a different site and the crop tool works perfectly.
    both sites are on the same server with the same configurations.
