    bp 1.0.1

    wpmu 2.7.1

my own theme based on the bpmember from a earlier version of bp.

But I did al needed changes with every update, so the theme works all around. just this part is lost and I don’t see the bug in the theme, because there is no template file for the general settings page. or I don’t know…

Hi, thanks for the nice support. Yes I know it is for developing. I was wondering, thinking a example should work. But it was my stupidity. There was an old bp-dev plugin example in my plugin folder I think that curse the problem.

    Thanks and Sorry

I tested it with a new installation of buddypress without problems.

But if try it with my working installation copying all in /wp-content/plugins/ it gives me a blank page. So I get the error before I’m able to activate it.

I deactivate all plugins. but still the same issue.

I don’t want to reinstall the hole wpmu bbpress and buddypress site.

Also all ather plugins I use are working without problem.

The mu and buddypress site is working correctly.

Is there a way to find the error?

Or do i need to reinstal the hole working installation and hope that it will work after?

I installed it from the plug-in browser because of I couldn’t get it to work.

If I move it to /wp-content/plugins/ the whole mu site is blank. just a white screen.

hi Giovanni Caputo, I use version 0.8. I have tested your plug-in in earlier versions without problems.

But this time, it is not working correctly.

Installation was OK. no errors. all done well.

But if I use it, it does nothing at all.

If I click one of the mail accounts. nothing happens.

In earlier versions, it opened a layer asking for the user name and password.

I tested it with 2 different buddypress versions. turned of all plugins., but I couldn’t find the problem. For me it looks like a JavaScript error…

    looking for help :-Sven

    Hi Erwin Gerrits,

bp-events is great. I’m playing around with it, having a lot of fun!

Now I have one problem with the wire.

May you can help me to fix it. I use customizable slugs, and I think this breaks the wire in your plugin.

This ticket has a batch for buddypress.

Hi Burt Adsit, I don’t know what to do next, I’m very confused now, because I checked everything 3 times. After I did the wire_patch_three.patch on a fresh installation, all wires were shown up and I’m allowed to write posts everywhere.

Just deleting wire posts makes problems in groups.

    3) Group wire on the group home page

    4) Group wire in Group > Wire

You wrote you don’t have this bug, but for me the error happened on 2 different installations. Do you have any suggestions why it happens?

And there is one more error, I think it could be a bug too.

After wire_patch_three.patch: If somebody invites a member to a group and the member accept the invitation, the notification in the adminbar still shows up the group invitation.

If you click again on it, it says that you have no outstanding group invites.

Sorry for my English. I know it must be sometimes difficult to read my postings. Thanks a lot for all the help. You are all brilliant.

It’s working now. just if I press delete wire, it still redirects me to my profile page.

    I forgot something.

    May be it is important.

On my other wp / bp installation after the wire_patch_too.patch. The wire is shown up again. All the old entry’s are back. But if I write a new wire post. I will be redirect to my profile page.

I’m developing a customised buddypress member theme and a directory view special for artists, musicians and multi media interested people.

This is my fun learning project to get deeper into wordpress and buddypress theme design and plugin development.

The hole website is still in beta mode. So don’t aspect it to work 100%

http://rheinrauschen.de (In the moment just firefox ie will come al last)

I will give the theme and plugin’s step by step to the community.

For this I have to wait for some bug fixes, the stable bp-events component. Better forum integration and many more…. :-)

if I use the wire_patch_too.patch, profile and groups are fine. but if I try to use wire in a custom component it is broken.

I have just updated the seo for buddypress plugin to version 0.02 for integration with the bp-events plugin. So its possible to enter title, description and keywords for the following pages.

    my events in profile

    events home

    events wire

    events forum

    events members

If I use define( ‘BP_GROUPS_SLUG’, ” ) in my wp-config.php the wire in groups is broken.

define( ‘BP_MEMBERS_SLUG’, ” ) for the profile wire is ok!
