This is rare. In my installation if it works. You have seen this message left today “Paul Gibbs” in another post ?. Apparently the new version of BuddyPress does not support these functions.

I checked a shipment of update messages in activity and private, and both work well.
Working with both WordPress latest version as of BuddyPress.

I again checked and works for me. For example, I created a new user, I have asked friends from my account and sent the mail correctly. Good afternoon. Buddypress I just upgraded to the latest update, and currently the subject of emails works well. I use the “WP-Mail-SMTP” plugin for my own mail server and I have had no problems. I tried to register a new user and sent correctly the activation email.
