Thanks Mercime. I’d already tried both of those methods and I’ve continued to try as many different variations as I possibly can and still no luck. I’ve done everything they’ve said. Created .po and .mo files (buddypress-en_US) with the relevant changes and added them to languages in /wp-content/languages/. I’ve also tried adding them to the bp-languages folder. Nothing.
Nothing happens when I add the first method code into my functions.php file.
It’s driving me insane to think that the one thing that has completely stumped me in the website building process has been the changing of two words. If anyone has any other suggestions or any tips as to where I could be going wrong it would be very, very much appreciated.
