this is an awesome theme – love it!
well… after no reply since a month, i guess i won’t be using it but make my own child theme off of hybrid…
makes absolute sense – thanks a lot!
i have wpmu + bp + bpress on multiple domains with a single sign-on, however when using bp-default, the theme is always displaying the main url rather than the blogs url (mapped with donncha’s domain mapping plugin). shouldn’t site_url in header.php display the blog rather than the host? if not, what whould be the correct function to call it?
i installed the bleeding version and am now sweatin’ blood myself, getting the following on a wpmu 2.9.1, bp 1.2 rc, bp-links bleeding install:
[08-Feb-2010 22:56:40] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_user_logged_in() in /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-templatetags.php on line 676
edited to include that i’ve got bp default theme activated
amazing, seems food poisening does good things to you
would it be possible to mash that with a bookmarklet? say i see something, click the bookmark and it gets added as a BP link?
consider that bp forums are working through bbpress, u can use those feeds…
@mrmaz, concerning wpplugins.com, i think 10% is quite a reasonable cut considering that it will also give you added exposure.
i’ve been looking for exactly the same – has anyone been finding a solution?
however, in addition i’d also like to have a group wire rss source, that would be perfect!
just thought to myself i should try it like integrating into wp: install seperately and then bridge (through the buddypress admin) – works perfect!
amazing stuff that bp now supports wp single install. setup was a piece of cake til i wanted to devour the forums. the process itself was smooth, however when trying to access the forums i get a 404 even though .htaccess shouldn’t be an issue (as it’s just from the basic wp distro) as well as database setup (same database, same user) – any suggestions as i’m actually not really into php nor programming…
