if the content is confidential you might want to make it only visible to logged in users that will turn the lights out completely as far as google is concerned as well.

the number of members doesn’t really matter it’s the number of concurrent users that’s the issue. ning is a service so its hard to compare that to running something like wordpress or buddypress on your own server. sounds like maybe you on shared hosting the memory errors indicate that your resources are insufficient.

so would that look like this:

}

where x and y are my field names? thanks & sorry i don’t jack when it comes to php.

indeed, i also thought i had seen some issues with g+ sharing and that plugin or at least our method of g+ sharing (addthis plugin).

I’ve never seen any impact on traffic using it. there may be some benefit but i think the time would better be spent developing content, call me old fashioned. 😛

no the theme should work with or without buddypress enabled shouldn’t matter what order you do things in but it does seem like you need to read the instructions.

yes buddypress is a plugin I’m surprised the theme instructions didn’t mention that but yeah you have to install it.

yeah idk maybe something is up with your network i have it enabled on only on the root site. works fine and shows up in the control list. pretty sure i read somewhere about network vs single site enabling for bbpress before in the documentation somewhere I’m 99.9% our situation is not a fluke maybe @jjj can settle it :/
