Activating Forums on Groups
I recently upgraded a client’s site from WordPress MU 2.7 to WordPress 3.3.1 and have been struggling to get everything functional again. The last step involved was upgrading BuddyPress. I had almost everything except for the last feature of the forums in groups. I upgraded the BuddyPress from 1.2.1 to 1.5.4. When I go to a Group Admin page, I click on Admin, Settings, Enable Discussion Forum. I click “Save Changes” at the bottom and receive a message of “Team settings were successfully updated.” (I’ve used the POEdit program to rename Groups to Teams).
When looking though nothing has changed. No forum tab is added to the group, no way to post topics, nothing. How can I debug this and track down what’s happening here?
