Active directory infos in the BP cover options

Hello

I am developing an Intranet site for my business with WordPress and the theme Woffice (including BuddyPress). I’d like to create a members page by retrieving the information from the active directory as cover options. I absolutely can’t make the connection between the two. With the plugin “LDAP/Active Directory Login for Intranet sites ” (miniorange), I can retrieve fields like name, e-mail, telephone, mobile phone, … How do I bring up this information?

Hi,

If you are able to retrieve those fields then you can easily show them on members’s profile. You just have to override profile template from Buddypress in your child them then just fetch and echo out these values in proper HTML.

That’s my problem, i’m a newbie with HTML & PHP lines… I want to show custom LDAP Attribute Mapping in a members page but i need help… with one example step by step !

Hi,

Please try to use this plugin https://github.com/wbcomdesigns/bp-modify-member-directory-header

It says that it allows showing profile fields on members directory and profile’s header.
