I’m using this plugin which seems handy but there are two issues. If you add a link it automatically takes one to an external page – it would be better if this were handled in a new window. If you had a YouTube url then the video cropped in the widget sidebar Site Wide Activity . Any ideas on these?

@enquirer32, for your first issue you could try a plugin like https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-external-links/ and this should work exactly as you wish in conjunction with the Activity Plus plugin by opening a link in a new window with the settings properly adjusted within the plugin admin.

As for the second issue, I’m not sure as I’ve not used any of the widgetized options there before…

Thanks – handy. There is another issue with this plugin which is very irritating. When you upload a photo and click on the Add Photo button it automatically closes the post so that a user finds the post may have been updated prematurely –
