Activity Widget – What's New – Post Update gives red – Please Enter Content

I tried contacting the widget creator but they are long gone or don’t care.

BuddyPress Sitewide Activity Widget

The Sitewide Activity widget feed works just fine in my sidebar.

http://www.MedoWorld.com is my website.

There is an optional widget feature to have a “Post Update” just above the activity feed. It looks good but doesn’t work. When you enter text and click on update you get a red error message thing that says “Please enter some content to post”.

I’ve gone so far as to deactivate every plugin I have just to see if the darn thing will work. Nope.

Any ideas?

Does anyone’s activity feed “post update” on your sidebar homepage widget work?

Mine sure doesn’t.

That plugin has been updated for BP 1.6 per site’s plugin page. The best place to report on issues with the plugin is at plugin dev’s site http://buddydev.com/buddypress/buddypress-sitewide-activity-widget-for-buddypress-1-2-and-above/

I have 1.1.6 already installed. I can’t find the update on their website….can you tell me where to download it? It’s not showing up in my Network Admin as an available update either.

I have posted on their website. No answer. In fact they deleted my request. I think they are not in business anymore. I posted another comment just a moment ago. I know they are there as I can see them come to my site and noodle around in my stats view of who visits. It is very strange and their plugin has flaws.

Perhaps you can help with your expertise and solve the issue for me?
