BuddyPress.org

Hello im pretty sure this might be easy to fix but i cant figure it out.

On my buddypress site when i click the “add friend” button it stays on on the same page and doesnt make the friend request and looks as if i never clicked the button.
.
But when i right click the button and click open in new window/tab it opens a blank page. After seeing the blank page when i go back to my site it shows that i made the friend request.

So im just wondering why one works and not the other. HTML issue? Php Isssue?
