Add users profile to favorite

Hallo!

I would like for users to be able to add each other to a ‘favorites’ list by adding a ‘add to favorite’ button to the users profile pages. De list off ‘favorites’ is than visible underneath the ‘favorites’ tab on user profile and in de members loop.

I am new to WP/BP and PHP + CSS.

‘favourits’ is really for bits of content, you might be better off with the Follow plugin, that would allow you to ‘Follow’ members as opposed to the friendship function which requires two way acceptance, in this way you essentially have a list of people that you have tagged, or listed as wanting to keep in a list.

I installed the Bp Follow plugin and it covers precisely what I was looking for.
Now I wish for the ‘Following’ and ‘Followers’ tabs to be renamed and only to be visible for profile owner.

Is there maybe a code/plugin I can use to hide the ‘following/followers’ tabs from other profile users except from the profile owners??
