Adding members to Groups

Can someone explain what is supposed to happen when a user is logged and they want to join a group.
On my site when they click on join group, with any browser, nothing seems to happen. In IE 10 when they select join group, after a few seconds, the main body of the page shifts to the left and takes up about half the screen but the header is fine. I am using both BuddyPress and bbPress, so not sure what is causing the issue. WordPress ver 3.5.1, BuddyPress ver1.6.5, bbPress ver 2.2.4.

which theme do you use ?

Have you setup all the pages that BP needs (see bp settings > pages) ?

The theme I am using is called Razor. All the pages that BP needs is setup.

@dramsay to double-check that it’s not a theme issue, change to BP Default theme, clear cache, and then go to Groups directory page and click on Join Group. By the way, did you check if the Razor theme is compatible with your BP/WP versions?
