Firstly, my apologies for being terrible new to all of this. I’ve looked through the forums and haven’t been able to find anyone else with this issue. I just installed BuddyPress and was able to make the necessary changes to get it functioning properly within my theme (Spectrum News by Woothemes). The only problem I still have is that the AdminBar/BuddyBar is displaying behind the standard menu bars of the theme, rather than floating above them. This makes it impossible to click on a submenu item in the Admin Bar as it opens behind the standard theme menu, until you scroll down the page so that the Admin Bar can be displayed over more “open space.” Check out my site to see what I mean: http://www.spawn-camp.com/. I’ve hunted through some of the files looking for an answer, but unfortunately I am not adept enough to figure this one out on my own. Appreciate your help!
Looks like you fixed it, adminbar is performing as expected in FF, IE, and Chrome.
I do see some style changes you may want to make starting with width of adminbar which is wider than the menu and you might want to add the following to your style.css file:
`#wp-admin-bar .padder { width: 940px !important; }`
