allowing basic users to set up groups

hello

i am setting up a community platform and i want basic , regular users to be able to set up groups, i have installed buddy press, ver 12.4.0 on my WP site ver 6.5.2 at :wakandalink.com but do not see in my test account how the editor level user i created can set up a group, let alnoe a basic user, please advise. Please ensure that you’ve activated the group creation feature within the BuddyPress settings so that users can create groups directly from the group directory page.

Thanks for the reply, the settings interface does not include a command for letting members set up groups, please advise.
