Auto Complete Not Working

    Auto complete does not work in my forums or when I compose a message. I have the friends settings on and I added friends but when I go to mention them in the forums by adding “@” no auto complete suggestions come up. Same goes when I compose private messages.

    I did, however. notice that if I am typing a post on the backend, it does work and brings up friends when I type @…

    Has anyone experienced similar issues that can offer a solution? I have latest version of everything.

    I’m having the same problem after upgrading to WordPress 4.5.2. I didn’t see the problem prior to that.

    Well, what do you know: I just found a fix for my problem here:

    (I had seen that recent fix from @pareshradadiya previously, but hadn’t noticed that it was a recent update to a 3 year old thread. So, figuring it might actually be current and relevant, I gave it a try and it worked.)
