Automatic friend request from every user on the site showing up for new members

Has anybody had that problem before? I saw something on this from 2 yrs ago but it had never been resolved. Basically every new registration has an automatic friend request from everyone on the site in their Friends-requests page, which is definitely not something I want.

Anyone please?

It sounds like the requests are being generated by a plugin or some other custom code – probably related to registration.
Try turning off all plugins except BuddyPress and see it the issue persists.

Thanks, the issue was caused by
BuddyPress Real Names plugin
