Automatically create a new group when a new post is created?

Is there a way to automatically create a new group when a new post is created?
I’d like to have the ability for front end users to create a new post (custom post type) using a form I’ve created on the front end of a site. Then for each post, I’d like BuddyPress to automatically create a new group that is associated with each new post.
This group will then be the area for threaded discussions relating to each post but group members.
Possible? Easy to do? New to all of this. Thanks
