Avatar cropping problem

I have been reading the different topics, and I dont think I have seen someone with the same problem as me. when I try to crop the avatar, the tool comes up, but it sets itself to a size, and when i try to resize, it resets itself to the smallest size possible. then I try to make it larger, and it resets it size to the biggest one possible. Basically I cant set one in between. Anyone knows why this occurs?

    Thanks

Actually, I’ve had the exact same problem myself.

Are you using a custom theme by chance? I think it has something to do with having a parent container element be less than 100% width. But then again Andy has it working fine here, so I’m not really sure.

This has been discussed here, and I belive it’s a bug since the release to the latest.

Someone else suggested another cropping tool (which I liked also), but not sure if Andy is going to implement it. I’m not either sure when this cropping bug is fixed completely for anyone using buddypress.

This cropping code is awesome… but not sure how to replace with the default cropping tool on buddypress.

I had the same problem. Download the newest trunk and it will work.
