Avatar issues ???!!??

Hello Everyone..
I have created a multisite, multiblog platform using BuddyPress that allows my users to create their own blogs on my network..
However I can’t seem to get the Avatars to carry over from the main blog (Where they register)
They also does not seem to be any place to update your avatar on the new blogs ???
Can anyone help please….. really stumped on this!!
