How does this site (buddypress.org)…

1. Have a forum link in the header?

2. Have user’s links in the forum link to the BuddyPress profile instead of the forum user profile?

3. Have the entire forum look like the BuddyPress theme?

This has been covered quite a bit in the forums, so search around for a bit and see if you can find what you’re looking for. Long story short, it uses something dubbed “deep integration” for lack of a better term, but it isn’t recommended for everyone and will be an obsolete method soon.
