BP 1.7.2 groups with foreign words in the slug not working correctly.

Hi, after updated bp to 1.7.2, all the groups with foreign words (Chinese in my case) in the url are having problem display correctly.
If I copy and paste the url into the url address and enter the page will return Page not found.
example: http://example.com/test一些中文/But if I use the ASCII version of the url it will work in the url address bar.
example: http://example.com/test%e4%b8%80%e4%ba%9b%e4%b8%ad%e6%96%87/It will also work if I click on the link anywhere in the site.
So what is the problem preventing me from using the url in the url address bar?
