BP Admin bar missing for logged out users.

My admin bar has disappeared for logged out users. There is a blank space where it should be. When I login the bar appears.
It use to be there, but for some reason disappeared a few days ago.
Any help would be great thanks
I am using custom community theme, BP 1.5 and wp 3.3.1
