BP Group Hierarchy plugin crashes my site

Hi
I am a newbie Buddypress user, and i have started and am trying to get a simple example of hierarchy for groups running.
my site is http://www.philcheney.com/WPLISN/
I am using WORDPRESS 4.7.3 running Twenty Fifteen theme.
Installed Buddypress 2.8.2 successfully, can use the product ok. 🙂

As soon as I enable the BP Group Hierarchy plugin the site halts with
The http://www.philcheney.com page isn’t working
http://www.philcheney.com is currently unable to handle this request.
I have deactivated that plugin now, and the site works fine. It is repeatable.
I have little test data, and not sure why it is doing this. Any ideas?

Are others successfully using this plugin and if not, where do i go to get group hierarchy capability?

I’m a bit unable to help you, as BP Group Hierarchy is very outdated.
By reading his support, you could find some intersting information, and even one about a forked solution, by @dcavins.

So, even if it is a kind of “in progress” work, you could test/try to use the “new” version which is on github.
