bp_groups_get_total_invites_count(); not a template tag?

Hi there, searched and searched…
I’m tweaking some things in a new notifications menu. Does anyone know of a way to display the total number of group invites for a user in BP 1.2RC2 and WPMU 2.9.1.1.?
For new mentions, friend requests or the inbox I use:
bp_get_total_mention_count_for_user();
bp_friend_get_total_requests_count();
bp_get_total_unread_messages_count();
Now the group invites still, could not find it in the code or the forums.
Please help, thanks!
