I’ve just tested again BuddyPress 10.5.0 with WordPress 6.0.3 having the Twenty Twenty-Two and everything works fine.
When a user registers it returns a gateway timeout error
Have you tried deactivating all your plugins (except BuddyPress of course) + activate any WordPress default theme + define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ) + search your error log file ? Doing so, if the issue is still there, then it’s a BuddyPress issue, otherwise it’s probably another plugin or a theme issue.
Disabling all other plug-ins other then buddy press returns the same thing. Issue occurs with both 2020 and 2021 theme
Then what is saying your errorlog file ?

With the last update to version 10.5.0 the groups page and the members page have been broken and the following message appears: No matching template found.

It’s very difficult to help you with so few information.
What’s your theme name and URL where it can be downloaded?
What’s your setup ? Multisite ? Do you have specific constants related to BuddyPress set into your wp-config.php ?

My site is an intranet of an organization and as I have told you Mathieu I use the Kadence theme, with the alternative wordpress theme it works, but obviously I cannot change the theme due to the work involved.

I just updated to 10.5 and tested user registration with no issues – members and groups pages also OK.
I use the theme BuddyX.
Member page is not working anymore (“no template found”). When trying to edit the page in Elementor I get a critical error:

What might be the problem?
A mí me ha pasado lo mismo con el tema Kadence, no funciona ni la página de miembros, ni la página de grupos, me muestra el mensaje tema no encontrado. Supongo que lo desarrolladores de Buddypress están trabajando en ello, es algo que puede suceder cuando se actualiza a una nueva versión.

hi @kleb123 the error is only mentioning the Elementor plugin, is this only happening when BuddyPress is active? What happens if you deactivate it?
Rolled back to 10.4.0 and everything works fine now.
I got the “no template found” in the frontend at the member pages.

hi. The new update has issues with the ExS theme however I reached out to them for a fix. Just popping in incase it’s important because i seen what you said 😋
@imath Muchas gracias por tu trabajo, de momento he cambiado a un tema alternativo y todo marcha muy bien, espero que se pueda arreglar lo del tema Kadence pero de momento hemos salido adelante y Buddypress está funcionando con otro tema. Os agradezco encarecidamente todo el esfuerzo.

@javigandia About the Kadence theme (at least), it will be resolved very soon, see the #8757 ticket on our Trac environment.
I believe the patch/PR attached to this ticket might also fix Elementor, @kleb123 can you check it?
10.6.0 will be released asap.
I’ll wait for a new release since everything is working fine with 10.4.0
I am using Divi and have to roll back to 10.4. I am getting No Template Found on all BuddyPress pages now with the update.
