    Hi,
i’m using Customify as theme for my website. I noticed that BuddyPress creates erors in the customization menu for this theme. I have no way to modify the settings, because the drop-down menu with the various settings appear as text.

If you want, you can see some screen on this link: https://imgur.com/a/XfYx9Ag
The menu in question should be like this: https://imgur.com/a/BEpQMPq

PS: The same error is found throughout the customization menu

    Software Informations:
    Wordpress version 4.9.6-it_IT
    BuddyPress version 3.1.0

Seems like your theme is not compatible with BuddyPress. If you can check with the default theme, you will see that it works fine.

I was just having this same problem with buddypress and customify and went into panic mode. However I found a fix. You need to go to plugins > buddypress settings > click options tab > find template pack and switch that to BuddyPress Legacy > save and youre done!

Thank you! This solution helped me to solve not 1 but 2 problems.

    1. This problem
    2. A problem I had of which I talked about in another post. In practice, hyperlinks were shown as HTML code.
ES: In “Edit Profile Image” the link to gravatar was shown as <a href="https://gravatar.com"> Gravatar </a>

With this solution, both problems have been solved.
