BuddyPress Installation Wizard issue

    Hi there,
    I am using the latest WP and downloaded the Buddypress plugin, but I didn’t get the BuddyPress Installation Wizard. It only has the regular settings menu of “Components, Pages, Settings”. There is nothing to activate anything? Not sure what I am missing…I don’t have a pre-made Register page? nor activate page? Do I create new ones and do I need a shortcode for those pages?
    Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Sounds like you didn’t have anyone can register checked before installing buddypress. It is located in dashboard/settings/general. You will need to create them and assign those pages in dashboard/settings/buddypress/pages and make sure you click save settings.

    @colourinfusion there is no longer any Installation Wizard as of BP 1.7. Proceed to the Settings > BuddyPress > Settings panels to configure your BP installation.
