buddypress is forcing my landing page to be My-Account page instead of home.

    buddypress is forcing my landing page to be My-Account page instead of home. even within WP when I click on “view site” I am being directed to My-Account while loged in as administrator.

    If I deactivate the Buddypress plugin the site works correctly.

    That is not default BP behaviour.
    BP does not create a page called ‘My Account’.
    It sounds like it is due to your theme or some other plugin.
    To test, try deactivating other plugins and switching momentarily to a WP theme like 2016.

    Yeah, As shane said it’s not default BuddyPress feature. You must have any plugin there that is creating that page and restricting from seeing home page.
