    Hiya

I’m having 2 issues with my Buddypress installation at http://www.myapt.org.uk – I hope you can help. Its running on the Genesis framework.

    1. My members page at http://www.myapt.org.uk/members/ will only display page 1 of the member list. Any ideas why this is and what I need to do to fix it? (I’ve tried turning all plugins off including google analytics but no luck).

    2. When I try to post an update in my activity feed (e.g. at http://www.myapt.org.uk/members/admin/ when I\’m logged in) it fails. I click the post update button, my text dissappears and then nothing. Its back to

    Thanks a lot
    Joe

@joerob101 if you’re using the Genesis framework, you should be using Genesis Connect for compatibility with BuddyPress. Please post at Genesis forums to confirm.

    Hiya

Thanks – I already am. I’ve also posted this issue in the Genesis forums already but without finding a solution. Hence why I’m here! Can you help any further please?

Sorry, I have never used Genesis so I won’t be able to help you out with your premium theme and plugin. I’ve added Genesis theme to your topic title so users who are experienced with the framework might see it and help you out. Having said that, the folks at the Genesis forums will be your best help.

@joerob101 have you tried Genesis Connect for BuddyPress? https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-connect-for-buddypress/

It helped me get BP running on a Genesis subtheme.

You shouldn’t be using Genesis Connect with current versions of BuddyPress.

    From the Genesis Connect developer:

As of BP 1.7 you do not need to have GenesisConnect. We are currently maintaining it for customers who had BP installs prior to BP 1.7.

Did you have any luck finding a solution to this? I’m having very similar problems. I have now deactivated genesis connect and it’s just brought a different set of layout issues.

I failed to find a solution. But as the functionality wasnt critical I left it as it was.

Genesis Connect is maintained for new versions of buddypress so if I were you I’d file a support ticket with the studiopress team and ask for their help.
