BuddyPress Members page now gives this error

  • @ericdano

Installed BuddyPress upgrade. Good so far except the Members page, I get this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_activity_get_permalink() in /home/site/www.jazz-sax.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-members/bp-members-template.php on line 590

    Ideas?

Did you disable the Activity Stream component? If so, try enabling it under “BuddyPress > Components” in the WP admin area.

Also: which theme are you using?

The component for activity stream wasn’t activated. It works fine now. Thanks

Which theme were you using? Was it BP-Default 1.5? If it was, that’s a bug.

    Hello,

I have the same problem in the members page:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_activity_get_permalink() in mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-members/bp-members-template.php on line 590

Then, whatever is the template, when users edit their profile, it’s updated well but with the error message that says that an error occurred…

How can I fix this bug ?

Yes – same problem. I am using Bp 1.5 with the twenty eleven theme with buddypress template pack and I don’t want the activity stream activated – but seems I have to have it.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_activity_get_permalink() , bp-members/bp-members-template.php on line 590. Would love some help on this.
