Hey guys,
the old thread has gotten a bit long and confusing really, so here we go…
Our shop is working now and our events plugin Buddyvents can now be purchased here:
http://shop.shabushabu.eu/plugins/buddyvents.htmlThe current version is 1.2.2. You can see all the features in action here:

I’m more than willing to pay for the plugin but do you then also have to pay $10 per month to gain access to a support forum?
@takeo
Nope, you won’t have to pay for access to the support forums. That’s for our other (free) plugins. You’ll need to register for a free account and then I’ll invite you to the Buddyvents group.@dlabbe
Not sure what the current rate is actually. As far as I’m aware, PayPal will display the USD amount before you hit the pay button. The domain input is just for our information. We like to know what cool projects users of Buddyvents come up with. If you haven’t got a domain yet, just write ‘n/a’ or something, then you can let us know later.@travel-junkie thanks for the reply. I will get it this week for sure. I tried getting the signup plugin, but every time i tried to log on in the processing checkout it did not recognize my username or password…any ideas?
On Events -> Events Map (which shows the global map) …
Our layout uses a narrower column than most, so the Events Map defaults to a view centered on Africa and zoomed in so that North America is barely visible.
How can we adjust the map to zoom it out one notch further ? So that it shows a full global view?
Or how can we adjust the map to appear centered over North America ?
@shanebp
Sorry, but we only answer support requests through our own forums at shabushabu.eu. Thanks!hello @Travel-Junkie
I am interested in purchasing your Buddyvents Plugin for my buddypress site… I live in the US… your checkout only had the option to pay in Euros..
What do you suggest i do, can you send me a link that will charge me in US dollars…
I also have a feature request, i am willing to pay additional for…
I would like my user to be able to enter there US zip code on my site and select 5,10,20,50,100 mile radius, then
they can search for all events posted on my site that are near there location…please get back to me soon
Thank You
@auctionbeats
Thanks for your interest in Buddyvents!
We use PayPal as our payment gateway and the Euros will automatically be converted to US Dollars when you pay.
Something similar to the ZIP code search is already possible. Users can enter an address and specify a radius. Not sure how well this works with just the ZIP code, but you could try that before comissioning an add-onok great,
thank you for your quick response, i will try that first.
thank you
is this the best way to contact you if i want to request a feature change?
@auctionbeats
Registering on our site is best for this kind of stuff:
http://shabushabu.eu/You will have access to parts of the support forums there, one of which is for feature requests. After you bought the plugin you will also get access to the Buddyvents support forum, where you can post specific requests.
In case you want to comission an add-on, it is best to contact me by email, which can be found here:
http://shabushabu.eu/imprint/Thanks!
I tried to setup an evet in a group on your test site.
It seemed to work, but when I went back to look at the event in the test group, when I clicked on the events tab in the group, it just returned me to your test websites homepage.Hello Travel-Junkie,
i’m thinking about the purchase of BuddyVents but i’d like tohave some info about this:i’m working on a new project based on WordPress Multisite and Studiopress Genesis Framework, i yet purchased Genesis Connect for run BuddyPress on Studiopress Theme .. what i need is to manage events and locations too, i mean i need to have a page for single location also with all informations (i taked a look at scubavagabonds.com and something like this http://scubavagabonds.com/dive-schools/aquatours-almeria/ wit a tab menu could be good) and have also a list of locations similar at that of events (like this http://test.shabushabu.eu/events/). More i need to have categories (better tags also), global search ecc ecc … so i know maybe i’m asking a lot but just i’d like to undestand if with this plugin i can do something near at my idea …
thank
Luca@lucaweb
Sorry for the late reply. Been very busy lately and don’t have as much time as I’d like to check the forums here.The scubavagabonds link is basically just a pimped group, that uses the group extension quite a bit.
Right now, events can only have 1 category, but I will rewrite the plugin to use custom post types and then you can add as many categories or tags as you want. That will take a while longer though, maybe 3 months.
There’s been a couple sites that have used Buddyvents to show locations or trips, so with a little work it’s definitely possible.

Hi Boris,
I would like to buy this plugin, but if it doesn’t work on my website, can you cancel my license and return me the money back?
I have been through the terms and conditions etc on your website but I would like to know that in simple english.
Thanks
MayankHi Boris,
Looks like a great plugin for BP ! Thank you for your super work.
I would like to buy it for my next project, seems perfect.. Just one question:
I need to put different calendar/list-events on different pages with just one category in each.
Is it possible ? Is there some shortcode like [buddyvents category=”1″] or something else ?
Thanks and sorry for my bad english.. ;]
Taz.
