BUG or ? Users accounts switch automatically

    Hi there, I have a strange issue. We are using Buddypress for our users, to let them has theyr own profile. But, when you log in, you see other user account than yours (and you can use it to change settings and other stuff.)

    For example I have the account test, when I login as test, I see the test2 account and I can use it.

    This is a huge problem, how we can solve it ?

    What is the user role of ‘test’ ?

    Administrators can see and edit globally.

    Create a new user with the role = Subscriber.
    Then Log in as that Subscriber and see what happens.

    @shanebp ,

    The role that is given to the users is CONTRIBUTOR after they register. But when they navigate through variety pages, they see that they are signed in other accounts.

    Hi,

    I have checked your registration process and it is working all fine. I found one thing that, suppose my user is pscool and then it is stripping the last alphabet in the username and just showing pscoo.
